Doing industry analysis including supply and demand situation and outlook across different products (On regular basis, I track GDP,cheap straighteners FAI, down stream sectors sales volumes, changes to the order book, etc. ) and evaluate the impact on our company and steel industry, tracking the price of different steel products and raw materials (including iron ore, freight rate, coking coal, thermal coal etc.) and analyze impact of price changes on steel makers, tracking inventory level of steel along the value chain. For example, I will analyze and evaluate the impact of significant events like a sudden anti-dumping case, dramatic price fluctuation of both upstream and downstream products, iron ore price hikes, new industry policies issued by government, industry M&A cases etc. and effectively communicate our views with our investors so that they can always have an up-to-date understanding of what is going on in the company and the industry so that they can make well-informed investment decisions. ? Keeping regular communication with industry analysts and portfolio managers (answer their queries and keep them informed and updated of where we are in the industry, for example, I will explain to them 1 percent increase of iron ore price would translate into 1.6 percent increase in iron making cost per ton so that they can have a better understanding of cost structure. Preparation of road show presentation materials (not only slides but also Excel tables of useful industry statistics and pro forma Q&As for the management to use when they communicate with investors);? Giving prompt and efficient feedback to investors whenever needed;? Attending investor conferences and doing one-on-one meetings with investors (including but not limited to the events held by investment banks like Greater China Conference by UBS, etc.);? Doing conference calls with investors(usually when they cannot come to our company);? Collecting and processing industry data and distribute to investors on monthly basis?
